The Foreside Garden Club attracts gardeners from the
Greater Falmouth Area, and is open to the public. Our Club was
established in 1950, and became a Federated Garden Club in 1951. We are
also members, and contribute to Maine Audubon Society, Laudholm Farm
Trust, and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Falmouth
Memorial Library, 5 Lunt Road in Falmouth, where we have established
their entry gardens, maintain their
window boxes and hanging pots during the summer, and participate in
their annual clean up in the fall.
Our annual Plant and Bake Sale supports our memberships and donations.
The Club also established and maintains a butterfly garden at the Neal
Dow House, the Federal style home c.1812 is located at 1714 Congress
Street in Portland |
