St. Mary’s Garden Club, located in
Falmouth, with members living in communities from Cape Elizabeth to
Brunswick. Meetings are generally held the 2nd Monday
of the month at St. Mary’s Church, 43 Foreside Road( Route 88),
Falmouth. Members and guests meet at 11:30 for a social get together
followed by a short business meeting at 12:15 and an educational program
or hands-on workshop at 1PM.
Programs open to the public.
Upcoming Spring Events:
On May 14, the Club invites members and the
public to "EXPLORING DESIGN" presented by Kenn Stephens, a talented
and renowned American flower arranger and designer with both
national and international experience. The program will begin
at 1:30 PM and will be held in the Parish House of the Church of St.
Mary's, 43 Foreside Road( RT 88), Falmouth. Parking is available in
the lot beside the Parish Hall. A small fee of $5 is asked of
visitors.
On May 16 beginning at 10 AM, the Club will
hold its annual Plant Sale. This sale features perennials brought
from members' gardens. This is a traditional event and very popular
with the locals, so make sure you arrive on time or you will
miss out on some great selections. All plants are labeled with
directions for the best growing results. Rain or shine, the
Sale is held under the tent on St. Mary's Church lawn, 43 Foreside
Road, Falmouth.
