Garden Study School
Garden Study School Online Course Update from NGC Please be aware that this course is no longer an alternative for those seeking GSS credit. Those who did receive course or refresher credit by taking the online course retain that credit. The traditional GSS program remains unchanged and is available throughout the country. Questions about the GSS program and about the discontinuation of the online course may be referred to members of the NGC GSS committee (see The National Gardener, Winter 2010).
The NGC Board of Directors voted at the Pre-Convention Board Meeting in Atlanta to terminate NGC’s contract with Learn2Grow. NGC and Learn2Grow developed Garden Time Course 1 based on NGC’s Gardening Study Schools (GSS) program. As a result of the board action, Garden Time Course 1 (also known as Online Course I and Virtual Gardening Study School Course I) is no longer available. This course had been offered (through the NGC and Learn2Grow websites) for the past year to the general public and was also available for student and refresher credit in NGC’s GSS program.
