1.  Accent on Horticulture. Container gardening for fall, yardscaping, PP pgm of Cynthia Hosmer's garden, annual meetings.
2.  Let's Learn Design.  Harvest supper "Holiday Designs" program, Christmas arrangements for Preble St Resource Center, designs using supermarket flowers
3.  Spring Point Shoreway and Old Settlers' Cemetery.  Maintenance of perennial flowerbeds and cemetery plantings.
4.  South Portland Public Library/South Portland Community Center.  Provide seasonal arrangements.
5.  GCFM Scholarship.  Donation.
6. GCFM The Gardeners Voice. Donation.
7.  Annual Plant Sale.

Osewantha Garden club was organized in South Portland on September 28, 1934 and joined the Garden Club Federation of Maine on April 29, 1936.  Current membership is 32 members from South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Gorham and Falmouth.
Osewantha generally meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 P.M. at the South Portland Community Center.  Business meetings are followed by programs covering Horticulture, floral design, environmental and other issues of interest to gardeners.
A newsletter is mailed to members in August and January highlighting activities of the club, the Stroudwater District and the GCFM.
