Objectives of the Topsham Garden Club

1. To promote interest in the art and practices of gardening, education, beautification, preservation and conservation of the Topsham area.

2. To operate on a non-profit basis exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 [c][3] of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

3. To adhere to the objectives of the Garden Club Federation of Maine, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.

Except as noted, meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month except January and February and are open to the general public.  Typically, lunch is at 12:00 noon, followed by a program and a business meeting.

June 2 – Plant Sale on the grounds of Cosmic Stone & Garden Supply, Topsham

June 13 – Visit to Merryspring Nature Center in Camden and Avena Botanicals in Rockland

July 11 – Tours of members’ gardens in Topsham & Brunswick

 
August 8 - Members-only picnic on Orr’s Island

September 12 – “Fall Tree & Shrub Pruning & Winter Maintenance”
with Kyle Rosenberg, WellTree Inc. , Brunswick

October 10 – “Houseplants for Indoor Joy”

with Stan Wakely, The Urban Garden Center, Topsham

November 9 – “Stonescape for Creative Garden Interest”

with Susan Carter & Rick Campbell; Gnome Landscapes, Design & Masonry, Falmouth

December 12 – Members-only Christmas Pot-luck Party and Auction
