The Topsham Garden Club was organized and federated in 1934.  There currently are 45 members who pay annual dues of $20 ($35 for a couple). Its affiliated memberships include: National Garden Clubs, Inc.; New England Region, Inc.;  Garden Club Federation of Maine, Inc., and Medomak District.

Objectives of the Topsham Garden Club

 

  1. To promote interest in the art and practices of gardening, education, beautification, preservation and conservation of the Topsham area.

 

  1. To operate on a non-profit basis exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 [c][3] of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

 

  1. To adhere to the objectives of the Garden Club Federation of Maine, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.

Except as noted, meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month except January and February and are open to the general public.  Typically, lunch is at 12:00 noon, followed by a program and a business meeting.
