The club was instituted in 1929 and Federated in 1953. We currently have 44 members.
The Waterville Community Garden Club meets the first Monday of each month (except January & February) at 6:00 PM. Brown bag supper is at 5:30pm.

The club members maintain several park gardens:
Veterans' Memorial Park, Waterville
Oakland History House
Thayer North Street Park, Waterville
We support garden- related projects at Waterville Public Library, the Hinckley School Christmas Tree event, arrangements for Redington Museum (every other year), garden therapy at the Oak Grove Rehabilitation and Living Center in Waterville, and gate plantings at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
