Gardening Study Schools

Landscape Design School

After meeting with Linda Grant, who has done an
EXTRAORDINARY job organizing the school on the
computer, I have decided to chair The Landscape Design
School. Eldie Johnston has said she will give me a hand,
and I hope to include members of each District into the organization
of the school. Linda will stay on as Credential
Chairman for one year for a smooth transition for which I
am grateful.

Please promote The Landscape Design School at your club meetings.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY SCHOOL

The school is a series of four courses of eleven hours each with a two hour tour included in each course. Each course is divided into learning units designed to
outline positive actions we can all follow to be good stewards of "The Living Earth". At the end of each course, there will be an open-book multiple choice exam given.  After completion of two courses, the student will have attained the status of Environmental Consultant Intern. This qualifies the student to join an Environmental Consultants Council (similar to Landscape Design Council) while completing studies to achieve the full designation of Nationally Accredited Environmental Consultant.

The Environmental School will be in Hull, Mass. on November 1 and 2, 2008.
