Gardening Study School - Bi-Refresher to be offered in October 2010

I’d like to give Garden Club Federation of Maine members a peek at what is coming in the future.  The day before the GCFM Fall Conference in 2010, the GCFM will be sponsoring a Bi-refresher.  This event offers consultants in the Landscape Design as well as Gardening Study schools the ability to get refresher credit.  This is the first time that a Bi-refresher is offered in the state of Maine.  In the past the only way for a consultant in either school to get refresher credit, was to re-take one of the classes in their respective schools or go out of state.  Refreshers offer outstanding speakers who will present the latest garden research and stimulating garden design ideas to inspire everyone attending.  It is sure to appeal to Consultants from both schools throughout New England.  Priority will be given to members who have completed the Gardening Study or Landscape Design Schools.   If there is still space available, members who have begun the process of taking either class, will be accepted.   Maybe it’s time to try one of the GCFM sponsored schools !

 Best regards,

Lisa Colburn, Gardening Study School Chairman
