Club Information The Bath Garden Club was organized and federated in 1948.

Our mission includes civic beautification, education, community garden assistance, conservation, youth activities and a scholarship program.

The BGC meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12:00 noon at Grace Episcopal Church, unless otherwise noted.
Club Programs The following 2019-2020 meetings will be held at 12:00 noon at Grace Episcopal Church in Bath, unless otherwise noted. Please join us!

July 16 at 11:00 a.m. - A field trip to East of Eden Flower Farm in Bowdoinham. We will meet at the Cross Insurance parking lot, in the Bath Shopping Center, for prompt departure at 10:30 a.m.

August 13 at 11:00 a.m. - A field trip to Springworks Farm in Lisbon. We will meet at the Cross Insurance parking lot in the Bath Shopping Center for prompt departure at 10:15 a.m.

September 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Winter Street Center - "Growing the Future for Farming in Maine", speaker: Ellen Sabina.

October 15 - "Historic Trees of Bath and Maine", speaker: Kyle Rosenberg, Bath City Arborist.

November 19 - Our popular and fun "Holiday Greens" workshop. These arrangements will be distributed locally to those less mobile and in need of good cheer.

December 7 - Our fourth annual "Festival of Greens" will be held at the Winter Street Center on Washington Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We have everything to make your holidays merry and bright! Please check the Bath Garden Club website at www.bathgardenclub.org

January 21 - "What's the Buzz about Bees & Other Pollinators?", speaker: Doug Calhoun, beekeeper.

February 18 - A workshop on "Spring Bulb Container Planting", speaker: Beth Hawkes of Hawkes Farm and Greenhouse.

March 17 - "Growing Raspberries and High Bush Blueberries in Maine", speaker: David T. Handley, Ph.D., of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.

April 21 - 6:00 p.m. at the Grace Episcopal Church, "Aquaponics and Sustainable Farming", speaker: Michael Brown of Springworks Farm.

May 9 - Our popular "Annual Plant Sale". 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Library Park, Bath. Don't miss this exciting event -- a great chance to get a jump on your gardens!
