Tuesday, June 18, 2019

8:00 am–4:00 pm   Registration:   In the Conference Center Lobby. Pick up your information packets containing tickets for the events you'll be attending, your nametag and a fabulous goody bag loaded with surprises from local merchants. Check out the Vendors and GCFM Exhibits on the way to the raffles and silent auction in the Ballroom. There will be a coffee & tea service available for Tuesday’s arrivals!

9:00 am–5:00 pm   Vendors, Raffles, Auction & Exhibits: Oh my! All items await your viewing and shopping pleasure.

10:00 am–4:00 pm   Garden Tour: Treat yourself to some of the most beautiful and unusual gardens in the Wells area! There are more than six lovely area gardens featured on a self-guided tour, including a presentation by Farm to Table Gardener and Author, Mort Mather at 1:00 pm.  A map of the area and specific garden locations is included in your Registration packet.  The garden tour begins at 10:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.  Parking may be tight at a couple of the locations, carpooling is suggested.  Cost for the tour is $10.00.

NOTE: Lunch on your own—Village By The Sea does not have an on-site restaurant. Please consider this when planning meals on your own. There are a number of lovely restaurants to consider nearby and don’t forget, these condo units have fully appointed kitchens!

4:00 pm–5:00 pm   GCFM Board of Directors Meeting: Board members may wish to dress for dinner, as the meeting will adjourn at 5:00 pm (York Room)

5:00 pm–6:00 pm   Cocktail Hour on the Patio: Take a few moments to savor the day while enjoying the lovely front garden of the Village By The Sea! A cash bar will include beer, wine and other beverages. Sample some of the hors d’oeuvres while you spend time meeting friends and visit the silent auction and raffle tables.

6:00 pm–9:00 pm   Dinner Program: "Eat Your Yard" with Keynote Speaker John Forti, horticulturalist and blogger "The Heirloom Gardener" (Ballroom)

Wednesday June 19, 2019

8:00 am–9:00 am   Registration: Conference Center Lobby

9:00 am–11:00 am   Raffles, Auction & Exhibits: All located in the Ballroom and Conference Center Lobby. Be sure to make time for raffle tickets and silent auction bids!

9:00 am–2:30 pm   GCFM Annual Membership Meeting, Installation and Awards Luncheon: (Ballroom) All members are expected to attend. Join us, find out what’s new in the GCFM, celebrate the installation of our new GCFM Board and share the excitement of the awards ceremony! This Meeting is a very important part of the Convention, so be sure you have selected and have notified GCFM with the names of your designated Club Delegates for voting purposes on Business Agenda items. The meeting breaks at 10:30 am to allow time to check out of your rooms and check your bids in the silent auction before the annual membership meeting resumes at 11:00 am.

12:00 pm–2:30 pm   Luncheon Program: Featuring Ms. Martha Chiarchiaro, presenting "Floral Images Through the Ages." At the conclusion of the program, the Business Meeting will resume until adjournment. Raffle and Auction winners will be announced at the conclusion of the meeting. (Ballroom)
