DESCRIPTION:Join Us for a ZOOM Presentation with Marie Chieppo\,\nMPH\, Master Gardener\, Landscape Designer\n& Accredited Organic Landcare Professional\n \nMarie Chieppo is a leading authority in New England in the field of sustainable organic practices and native plant design. Currently\, the majority of her projects are in the area of ecological restoration\, through the enhancement of plant communities and bringing life back to disturbed sites. In this presentation participants will learn techniques for including native plants that enhance the beauty and overall sustainability of a property.  Native plants are not only beautiful and low maintenance but also play a vital role in supporting local ecosystems\, conserving water\, and improving soil health. as well as how these plants support pollinators\, wildlife\, and biodiversity\, as well as how to plan and design with these plants. \nIn landscape design there are “tricks of the trade” garnered from nature that increase beauty and self-sufficiency.
