The Kennebec Valley Garden Club, in partnership with the Friends of Lithgow, will present Art in Bloom, “Let’s Go To The Movies”, at the Lithgow Library in Augusta. This show will feature nearly thirty floral arrangements displayed throughout the library depicting movies.

It was November 2016, we had just moved to the area and knew not one person in town. At my first meeting as a visitor to the Seacoast Garden Club, I was warmly greeted and people introduced themselves during the coffee hour. Others said, "Come join us," as we listened and learned from the guest speaker. With each monthly meeting, it was the same joyful experience and it continues to this day. I had never expected to find such a warm and welcoming community in such a short period of time.
I joined the Veazie Garden Club in the summer of 2021. I’m so glad to have found such a wonderful group of garden enthusiasts who are willing to share their knowledge, friendship and, of course, plants!

And I never thought I was interested in flower arranging, until this wonderful group of skilled artists showed me a thing or two.
